Bamboo Surf House is a friendly community Lodge close to Playa Hermosa Beach. Just a 3 min walk will bring you to this quiet Beach with a great Surfing point.

The Surf Hostel has a shared fully equipped Kitchen with a Dining table and a social Chill out Lounge.

There are 5 rooms. Four of them are private with attached Bathrooms for 2-3-4 guests. One of them is a Shared unit for up to 3 guests with a shared bathroom.

Two of the private rooms also have a private Patio to hang out with your group.

Our place is a great spot to meet new people travelling around the globe and definitely a great place to surf. Weather you are a Beginner, intermediate or advanced surfer, you will find this beach ideal to learn.

Guests have access to every space!

Our Surf house is located in a very quiet residential area walking distance from the beach. Playa Hermosa has a few stores to get what is necessary to stay in this area.

We are still close to Santa Teresa Downtown but far enough to enjoy the silence. A 10 min drive brings you into Santa Teresa town.

There are many ways to get around. Taxi, car rental, ATV, bike, etc.

We have a safe place for your vehicles.

Cada Bungalow ofrece lo siguiente: cocina propia, ducha de agua caliente, aire acondicionado, ventilador, Paños y Sábanas limpias, terraza con hamaca, área de descanso y un hermoso Jardín lleno de plantas y vida.

Nuestro Jardin es un terreno de 4.000mts lleno de árboles frutales, plantas de todo tipo, pajaros, monos y todo lo que la selva ofrece.

Nuestros huéspedes tienen acceso a áreas de descanso, hamacas, Un Rancho grande donde desayunar y comer en cualquier momento del día, donde también se puede descansar leyendo un libro o simplemente tener charlas con amigos y viajeros.

Nuestro Lugar se encuentra en el medio del tranquilo pueblo de Mal País. El terreno es muy seguro y siempre limpio. Entre otras cosas, ofrecemos a nuestros huéspedes alquiler de Cuadras, motocicletas, bicicletas, tablas de surf y todas las actividades imaginables como canopy, cabalgatas, tour a las cascadas, Pesca en altamar y más.

Each Bungalow offers the following: queen size bed, bed sheets and towels, AC, fan, fully equipped small kitchen, private bathroom with hot water shower, terrace with hammock, sitting corner with sofa, outdoor shower (cold water).

Shared space for all Pachamama Lodge guest: Outside chill out area in our “Rancho” with sofas, chairs, dining tables and BBQ place next to the entrance area.

All this surrounded by amazing nature and many jungle plants. Our big tropical garden with lots of fruit trees visited by birds and other jungle animals invites for a stroll.

Our Lodge is a 4.000 sqm tropical garden. Guest have access to all the areas and can walk around and enjoy our natural environment.

We have hammocks and chill-out areas with comfortable sofas where you can relax and enjoy the natural scenery. There´s a big ¨Rancho¨ where you can sit and have breakfast or any other meal during the day. This space is comfortable for reading, enjoying a drink or for chatting with friends.

Walking up the stairs to our Pachamama look-out spot, you will find the most stunning views over Mal País and its surrounding beaches.

This unique location is situated right in the middle of the quiet Mal País. It is 1 kilometer from downtown Santa Teresa and 1 kilometer from "Cabo Blanco" national park. Just a few steps away you will find beautiful tranquil beaches and bays with tide pools. The Pachamama Lodge is located at the most natural part of Santa Teresa destination. In our tropical garden you feel the most connected with nature. You will fall asleep to the sounds of jungle and waves and wake up to the howling of the monkeys and chirping of the birds. The beach is in max. 2 minutes walking distance and just across the street you find a nice local restaurant and another one with great views just 5 minutes away up the hill.

Pachamama Lodge has a safe onsite parking for the guests. Ordered shuttles or transports will stop just right in front of our door. Please let us know if we can help you with the booking! For excursions or the getting around town we offer bicycles, ATVs or motorbike rentals.

In Costa Rica, many places do not accept cards for payments. Think of always having some cash with you. In town there a three ATMs where you can withdraw (Banco Nacional, Banco Costa Rica, BAC).
